WLA Releases 2025 Regular Season Schedule
For release on Wednesday February 26th at 9 am.
Burnaby, BC; February 26, 2025 – The Western Lacrosse Association - WLALacrosse.com (WLA) announced today its 2025 regular season schedule, a full 18-game per team schedule to be followed by playoffs in August, with the league champion hosting the Mann Cup against the Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) Champions from Ontario.
“Coming out of our Junior Draft Jan. 28th, the focus now turns to preparation for the 2025 season and our teams are anxious to get started,” said WLA Commissioner, Paul Dal Monte.
The season is scheduled to open Wednesday May 21st when the Maple Ridge Burrards visit the Langley Thunder followed by the Nanaimo Timbermen traveling to historic Queens Park Arena Thursday May 22nd to take on the New Westminster Salmonbellies. On Friday May 23rd the Coquitlam Adanacs are at Bill Copeland Arena to take on the Burnaby Lakers, while the Burrards travel to Victoria to take on the Shamrocks.

May 21: Langley Thunder vs. Maple Ridge Burrards at Langley Events Centre;
May 22: New Westminster Salmonbellies vs. Nanaimo Timbermen at Queens Park Arena;
May 23: Burnaby Lakers vs. Coquitlam Adanacs at Bill Copeland Arena;
May 23: Victoria Shamrocks vs. Maple Ridge Burrards at The Q Centre;
May 24: Coquitlam Adanacs vs. Victoria Shamrocks at Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex;
May 25: Maple Ridge Burrards vs. New Westminster Salmonbellies at Cam Neely Arena;
May 31: Nanaimo Timbermen vs. Victoria Shamrocks at Frank Crane Arena.
The Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) is an amateur men’s Senior A box lacrosse league, sanctioned by Lacrosse Canada. The WLA consists of seven teams based in cities throughout southwestern British Columbia, playing an 18-game schedule from late May to the end of July. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the right to compete against the Major Series Lacrosse (Ontario) champion for the Mann Cup. The championship is hosted alternately between Ontario and British Columbia every September.
